Our hospital still relies mostly on standard briefs for male patients with limited mobility, but we're dealing with frequent leaks and a lot of unnecessary repositioning. Has anyone switched to something that worked better in an acute care setting?

Our unit was in exactly the same position until one of our clinical educators introduced a different approach to acute care male incontinence. Instead of focusing only on absorbency, we started using products that were easier to change without rolling the patient as much. That reduced skin moisture, saved nursing time during busy shifts, and made overnight care much smoother. We were skeptical at first, but after a few weeks the difference was obvious, especially for patients who couldn't move independently.
