My partner and I visited Tiny Lions mid-September with an open heart and an open mind to meet the kittens. We met these 2 kittens but tried to take our time deciding if they were the missing pieces to our family. It took us less than a day to be sure they were. In the shelter, Slinky (dark gray) was identified by staff as "the bully," pummeling the little boy kittens and Neptune (formerly needle) (dilute tortie) was shy, hiding under furniture from strangers but unable to resist reaching out little paw to play. At the shelter, they did not interact much with each other and the staff wondered how they would mesh as a pair. It took maybe 1 day at home for them to fall in love with each other. They are constantly either cuddling or playing with each other and exploring the world around them. Slinky's outgoing personality has influenced Neptune to be more social, cuddly, and confident and Neptune has kept Slinky grounded when Slinky yells at us for food or to be pet. We haven't stopped laughing since meeting these sweet goofy babies.
